Alex and Lisa’s Wedding

On Sunday, Amber and I headed over to Greensboro to shoot Alex and Lisa’s wedding. They were married at the beautiful Temple Emanuel, then had their reception at the Proximity Hotel. This hotel was AWESOME!!! We need to plan a mini-vacation to Greensboro just to stay there. What I loved most about their special day, was that they got to see each other beforehand, then sign the Ketubah before the ceremony began. They were both so relaxed and happy… it really was perfect. I’ve never seen a bride more calm in my life… Lisa, you rock! Here are a few favorites….A quick shot of the shoes….

 And the lovely ladies….

When they were about to see each other for the first time on their special day, I had Alex turn around so he could be surprised… so sweet…

And I loved his reaction to seeing her…. I think he was really impressed:)

I love this moment during the Ketubah signing…

I couldn’t shoot during most of the ceremony, but I did grab a quick shot of their kiss…  and I have to give a shout-out to Tre Bella Florist again. They did an AMAZING job with all the flowers for the day.

Then we were off to the reception… and here’s the incredible Proximity Hotel I mentioned earlier. They were actually featured on the Today Show not too long ago…

We also had some time to get some photos of just the two newlyweds before they headed inside. I’m always so happy to have this time with the couple!

For this next one, I was just trying something a little different… a little vintage feel….

Another detail shot… I was loving the centerpieces Tre Bella put together!

And pregnant photographers never leave without a cake shot….(or a big slice of it)! The cake was made by “Delicious,” located in Greensboro, and it sure was (delicious). It had little strawberry slices in the icing between each layer…. mmmmmm. Would it be bad if I called them up to order a mini cake for myself?

This was my first horah experience, and it was great! Looks like they were having a good time….

 Sweet moment during the toasts….
