Amy and Scott’s Wedding

I really am lucky to do what I love… and even luckier that I get to work with amazing people while I do it. Amy and Scott are those kind of people you can’t help but love. They’re such kind and creative people… and this definitely showed with every detail of their big day. It was a simple, laid-back day filled with sweet moments, lots of sunshine, bluegrass music, and good times with good friends. What a perfect day! They chose Rock Quarry Farm for their big day, and I think it was the perfect location for them…

One of my favorite details of the day was this little table they had set up with tons of origami paper and instructions for making paper cranes. As the guests arrived and hung out before the ceremony, they all made paper cranes for Amy and Scott. They’re going to take all of these cranes and make a mobile out of them to hang in their future baby’s room. How sweet is that? I just had to use one for my ring shot!

Amy and Scott sharing a sweet moment or two before the ceremony. I was so excited that they saw each other beforehand, because we had plenty of time to wander around and get lots of photos.

The farm was such a beautiful place for a wedding and had all sorts of fun details to work with. When I saw this truck, I couldn’t resist.

And this my friends… might be my favorite wedding shot ever.

The house at Rock Quarry Farm is also a Bed & Breakfast, and if I didn’t already live close by, I would definitely go stay there. It is beautiful! Really makes me want to have my own B&B one day….

Scott’s dad played the guitar for their wedding… another sweet touch to a perfect day. He was singing “Here Comes the Sun….”

Did I mention what a beautiful day it was?

 And a beautiful bride too….

 Just married!

I obviously can’t get enough of these details. How about these decorations made out of milk cartons!?

And they even had a bluegrass band playing for their reception… I loved how they were set up on this little porch to play.
