High school sweethearts Caitlin and David were married on Saturday in Chapel Hill, and I’m so thankful to have been a part of their big day. It was one of those ceremonies that reminds us how blessed we are to not only be surrounded by the people we love most, but to be able to marry our best friend. It doesn’t get much better than that. First up are the lovely ladies. They were so much fun to work with!
The guys weren’t bad either…
And this little guy was so adorable I considered stealing himFigured I probably wouldn’t get away with that, so I settled for taking some photos instead.
Can’t post a wedding without a ring shot, right? For this one I used some firewood outside Caitlin’s parents’ house where the girls got ready.
One more awesome detail was Caitlin’s bouquet….
Caitlin and her dad seemed to have a really fun relationship as they joked around with each other before the wedding. I’m sure it’s a really emotional moment, though, when you walk your daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. When I spotted him looking over at her as they walked in, I admit I teared up a little. What a great moment.
Here’s another sweet moment during the ceremony…
After the ceremony (did I mention how great it was?), we headed outside to get a few photos. Caitlin’s one request was to have one in front of the red doors…
How amazing is her dress!? Well done, Caitlin… well done.
Then it was off to the reception…
While the guests were enjoying some mojitos, we snuck away for a few photos of the newlyweds on Snipes Farm. For this first one, we went back to the same spot we’d taken one of their favorite engagement photos. Hope this one’s a favorite as well!
A couple more favorites from the day…
But of all my favorites from their wedding day, this one is my ABSOLUTE favorite.
I could post a ton of fun ones from the reception, but I’ll leave you with this one for now. Since they were married on the Fourth of July, we had to end the evening with sparklers!
Congratulations guys! Hope you’re having a blas
t in France!
