…is amazing! I’m one of fourty women that are part of an incredible photography workshop out on Bald Head (NC) right now, and I’m loving it. In addition to learning tons and tons of new things photography-related, we had several models come out yesterday for us to work with. Here are some (okay, a lot) of favorites that I shot yesterday!
Before we took them out for a shoot, we got to know a little bit about them. This married couple was so sweet, and before we even left the house for the shoot, I got this shot of them. SO SWEET! You’ll see a bunch more of this beautiful gal further down… but I’m curious to see who you think she looks like (famous). We all thought she looked like some one different…
So first up… is this (for lack of a better word) BADASS bride
She was working it and totally up for any thing…
Then we were off to work with this beautiful (previous) bride. (we were actually shooting in a bathroom of all places!) Who knew! She was sitting up on top of the sinks, and to make things a little more interesting, I hopped up on top of the sinks in front of her to get this shot. (fearful of breaking this sink/countertop, but so pumped to get this shot….)
Then for an engagement session with a GORGEOUS couple. For this, we were practicing with natural/window light… and here are my faves:
And one of my very favorites… since most of my shots seem to show off the girls the most, I made a point to get a good guy shot, and this one might be one of my very favorites ever…
Last up… a married couple. For this, we headed out into the direct sunlight (which I rarely do), and I’m thrilled with the result. Who do YOU think she looks like?

Well, I’m having a blast, and will be here for several more days. I’m sure I’ll be back here in a day or two with some more photos!
