Happy Spring every one! Now that I’m caught up on blogging my most recent work, I wanted to share a little more information about the wedding albums I offer. I’ve had a handful of wedding clients order these already, and let me just say… THEY ARE GORGEOUS! If you’re interesting in booking me for your wedding, I would definitely recommend these albums. I keep these options a la carte for those who are interested, but I’m so excited when folks decide to display their favorite wedding day images this way.
So how does it work? Well, after the big day I’ll have you go through your online gallery of photos and choose a certain number of favorites for me to work with. I may suggest a few here and there, but this is mostly up to you (unless of course you want me to do all the picking)! I go through and begin a custom design for you of each page/spread (a “spread” is two pages side by side). I keep these designs clean and simple, so that the images we use are showcased beautifully. Once I’ve completed the design and gotten your thumbs up, I send the order to the album folks at KISS wedding books who do their magic. A few weeks later, a gorgeous album arrives.
The albums are leather-bound with thick, lay-flat pages that won’t bend or rip, and each image is printed directly onto the page. None of those traditional albums with frames to slide your photos into. I order most albums in 10×10 size, but an 8×8 or 12×12 is also available if you like. Each album includes 20 pages (or 10 spreads), but again we can customize this if necessary. There are also several colors of leather from you to choose from! I plan to offer parent albums this year as well, which are simpler, linen-bound albums that will make great gifts for Mom and Dad.
Happy to answer any other questions you have about them, but for now, how about some photos, starting with a few from Ashley and Jeremy’s wedding…
See that pretty leather and nice, thick pages!
And here’s Melissa and Danny’s album that I just did… they went with brown for theirs.
Opening spread, featuring the sign that Melissa’s grandfather made for the big day…
Love this spread, and I’m sure I’ll think of these guys any time I run across a purple lantern!
Sleek, simple, and so so elegant…
The end…
Check out that fabric slipcover… every album comes in one! The fabric is always a surprise, and always gorgeous.
Another favorite spread of mine… this one’s from Audrey and Bradley’s wedding…
So there you have it. Excited to whip up some more wedding albums this year! I’m also thinking it could be an awesome way to document your baby’s first year. Ahhh, the ideas!
