Last month I met up with Kevin and Lauren down at Kure Beach/Fort Fisher for their engagement shoot. The weather really couldn’t have been more perfect, and we had a blast going around to a few different spots for photos. I was dying to do some at Kure Beach Pier, so that’s where we started. And Kevin, thanks for going with the suspenders…. I think they were a nice touch. So were those fluffy clouds… thanks clouds!

I really love this one…

Good call on the parasol, Lauren!

Thank you, lifeguard stand. You were one of my favorite props yet.

Then we stopped by this old gas station for some vintage photo fun…

Our last stop was down by Fort Fisher, where all these amazing trees are.

Kevin and Lauren are so much fun, but they’re also quite creative. These adorable pinwheels are a little sneak peek at what we’ll see at their wedding in June!

Looooove this. Pretty sure it needs to be on a canvas hanging in their house.

Lauren’s son also joined us for the last bit of our shoot, and I loved that we captured some shots of them as a family-t0-be. The boys were having a good time joking around together…

Another favorite… and the only photoshopping here was to add my name in the corner.

Now that’s what I call a family photo… love it!

Can’t wait for the wedding next month! Stay tuned for lots of photos from that!
